Quick write:
If i could change any characteristic of my self as a student i would change the way i worried about my classmate. I'm always making sure to see everybody doing good in their grade. like if someone get better score then me i would be worried and just tell my self i have to do better.
Reflection
After reading half way through the second page of the novel. I believe that if i had the chance to change my self i would not worried about others so much. In the reading the authors worried about the students reaction. Some student went wild others stood as calm as they was. The teacher is waiting to see if should get the same result she's was expecting. She believe that human qualities could be cultivated through effort.
I agree with you about not worrying about how others think of you. Don't focus on anyone but yourself and that will help you stay focused and push forward. Do the best of your ability and that should be enough, you shouldn't feel like you have to compete with anyone. Do you girl lml :*
ReplyDeleteYes, we all waste way too much energy worrying about what others think when we could be spending the time learning. You really understand the point Dr. Dweck is making. However, this book is non-fiction--not a novel. The author, Carol Dweck, is a psychologist and researcher. She was watching the students for evidence to support her theory of mindset.
